Great Job Fins & Birds

Last night was a wonderful night of football. The Fins managed to make the Pats the first team sing (the 70something) broncos to have 10+wins and not get the division while the Eagles managed to make their way into the playoffs by destroying the Cowboys.

Last song of XXXV

Big day tomorrow, let's do this Fins

Tomorrow's a big day for my dolphins. If they beat the Jets, they'll clinch their division and make it so the Pats are the first team since Denver to have a <10 record and not make it.

Other exciting news, by default (even with a 12 and 18 (or something) record), the 76ers are in Third. Flyers remain in Second which is, of course, quite nice, While the Eagles remain a constant source of indigestion.

So hey, here comes the new song.
From album XXXVI: FALLEN ROBIN, DRA I: K.T. (The first fallen robin).

XXXV now started, two songs in

Days Run Away XXXV: Faoi RĂșn

With only an acoustic guitar and a harmonica, I'm trying to record new music for XXXV. So far, it's somewhat challenging, but successful. Fins won, but so did the pats (and the Eagles lost). So long as the fins keep winning, I'm happy. One more to go and they could win it (the fins that is)

Okay, songs then.

Back in Connecticut

I've switched a few things around, removing two songs from XXXIV and adding the two recorded to XXXV, finishing XXXIV and leaving XXXV clean to start something totally new.

Here's the first song from it.

It has snowed a lot here in Madison.

Sixers lost to Indiana by One, which is somewhat dissapointing as the pacers are one of the lesser teams in comparison to Philly.

They might not be the best in the league, but they're players sure have great names

Did I ever mention how absolutely terrifying the Sixers Mascot, Hip-Hop is?

This is, in some way or another, turning into a strange sports blog of sorts. One must note, however, that I know very little of the technical end of anything discussed here. As such, it's purely observational.

Along with our friend T. Young, another great name is Iguodala, whose name catches my ear more than any other's when listening to the sixers on the Radio. We recently had a great win against the bucks so I'm quite happy about that.

Flyers lost, but, we lost to Montreal. It sucks that we lost, however, it brings them, if only a little bit, closer to getting above the bruins (the team they rank one under). The bruins hold a place in my heart similar to that of the Patirots and the Redsox (meaning I hate them). The only boston team I don't hate completely is the Celtics.

And the Dolphins keep kicking ass as they're tied up for second in their division.

Here's the song:

SCHOOL'S OUT/LETS GO DOLPHINS

Sadly I only have another week in the city. Cheers to anyone in the crafts department who's still working there asses off.

Now let's go Fins. I wish I could have the same enthusiasm for the Eagles, but they've just let me down a few times to many (i.e. tying with Cincinnati).
So let's go dolphins. So long as they keep the Pats in a tight spot, I'm a happy man.

76ers are still iffy, but I really wouldn't expect anything else right now.

Anyway, here's the second song from album Thirty Five.

D.R.A. XXXIV Started

Here's the first song, which is also featured in my close friend Ricky's movie, the bump.

And here's the album art.

Two updates in one day, why not?

I figure that, if I can update more than once in a day, I will. One will have to forgive me not updating as much as I'd like. I'm hardly online these days, and when I am, I'm normally working on something.

Anyway, Here's another track form XXXIII (I'll throw up some XXXII soon as well).

I really need to actually update this thing when I write songs: 76ers, Two Istbones, XXXII & XXXIII

Wen't to a sixers game the other night. To anyone who lives near Philly, it's very much worth the 10 dollars to make your way out to a game. I'm personally making an effort to better follow basketball.

Also, with a name like Thaddeus Young, what's there not to like.

Thanks to everyone who's downloaded the compilation. It's already doing just as well as the others and the response has been quite good. Around the same time as my compilation's release, another artist, Two Istbones, released what I believe to be some of the better music to come out of the forums in a long time. For anyone who's interested:
here's the thread
and
here's his homepage.

He also mentioned potential collaboration, so keep your fingers crossed.

In the past two days I've finished both album XXXII (Mockingbird) and XXXIII (In The Forest Of My Room).

Here's the first track of the later:

And here's the album art for XXXIII:

Ten Dollar Seats (No. 1)
Booth on the court, and in the ticket booth, the lights are dim.
To the best of my knowledge
I have already made my way into seven photographs.
Our defense is weak and we're fouling too much.
Perhaps it's the risk of playing tough.
Godzilla and King Kong beat their chests
to the rhythm of a chant.
Defense.
And it's been so long that I've forgotten most of the rules.
The monitors show the private suites,
filled with people only half following the action below.
There is a constant swirling of voices.
With eight minutes and four seconds remaining in the third quarter,
there is a strange and sudden silence.

At seven minutes and Thirty seconds remaining,
the lights start to change again.
It's been so long that I've forgotten most of the rules.
With a sharp face and nicely combed hair,
a young man in what appears to be a leather jacket asks for a light.
"Come here alone?"
I nod, taking a drag of my cigarette.
"I might as well be. Here with my girlfriend"
He says, washing down a drag with an overpriced beer.
"It's funny because I wanted to come here by myself,
and she was so insistent and, now,
now I just feel more alone."
