For anyone who's already downloaded my albums, you already know the schpeel about the 'no less than three songs a week' experiment I've been doing under the title of Days Run Away. This album, The Great River Locked is a compilation of records Twenty-Three through Thirty-One. As always, both the compilation and the records from which the compilation is compiled, are available for free to download.

For this series, I made an effort to make more guitar oriented tracks. With the exception of a little percussion, found recordings, vocals and chimes, every sound you hear is a guitar, no matter how organ or horn-like they may sound. The album title is based off of a line from a poem by Mao Zedong called Yellow Crane Tower.

For anyone who would rather preview the songs, you can go to my myspace.

In the past, these compilations have been really well received. Still though, if you have any creative criticisms, I'd be happy to hear it.
